in Drinks, Product Reviews

A couple weeks back, I received a care package from Janny at Pom Wonderful (remember?) but I wanted to use it to make some cool stuff before posting a product review. I’m sure many of you have already tried POM Wonderful or at least read a product review, so I thought it would be fun to switch it up!

I decided to make some super snazzy bevvies w/ the POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice I received.

Before we begin the party here some facts about POM:

  • -All-natural and contains no added sugars, preservatives, colors or cheap filler juices.
  • -Is a good source of potassium, is gluten-free, certified kosher, and flash pasteurized to retain both flavor and nutrients
  • -The only brand guaranteed to contain 100% authentic pomegranate juice.
  • -Patients who participated in published clinical studies experienced significant improvement in heart, prostrate, and erectile health after dirnking eight ounces of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice daily.
  • -The Wonderful variety is known for its unique combination of superior antioxidants, delicious taste and deep crimson color.

.

Now check out the cool things I made with POM:

POM Spritzer:

  • -4 oz. Pom Wonderful
  • -8 oz. Sparkling Water
  • -Frozen or Fresh Berries
  • -Sweetener of choice (optional)

POM Sangria

  • -Apple chunks
  • -Plum slices
  • -Frozen or Fresh Berries
  • -6 oz. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
  • -6 oz. Red Wine
  • -6 oz. White Wine
  • -Snapple Iced Tea (the only other ‘juice’ we had on hand!!)

*Other fruits and juices can be used too–feel free to make it your own!

POM Monster:

It makes a great addition to your favorite smoothies as well!  Talk about creating an antioxidant powerhouse!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The flavor of POM Wonderful is a bit tart on it’s own, but it  serves as a great addition to various types of drinks.  I actually like the tart flavor but because I am not a big juice drinker, I thought it would be fun to see what concoctions I could come up with!
Thanks for coming to the POM Party!!  Pick a drink and get ready to mingle with some antioxidants! :)
That spritzer and sangria look so refreshing. I’m totally jealous of the beautiful weather you seem to keep having… it’s disgustingly rainy and turning cold a bit too quick here!
POM Sangria is my favorite! I make this all the time. What a great use for such a healthy juice then to add wine. :)
:) I love the kefir-pom idea
I got kefir this weekend for the first time (evolve brand) and I LOVE IT SO FAR! You’re right: its just like tart frozen yogurt without the sugar and frozen-ness and more liquidy. It kind of reminds me of the drinkable yogurts in a glass bottle I used to have as a kid in China!
Hope you had a good time at home… see you around soon :D
