I LOVE this post – especially after I spent the evening trying to explain blogging to people and ‘why I would ever want to do that?’ :)

I crave veggies allll the time – perhaps that’s why when I do hit up salad bars I buy 1.5 pounds of salad & eat it all?!

Happy Halloween! (almost!)

In my world, you are completely normal! I love Southern Season and could literally spend hours in there. :)

I get super excited about grocery shopping and I do occasionally like a lil AB or Naturally More right outta the jar. If I lived alone, my thermostat would be set to 70 degrees. But, I don’t live alone ;) so the ’stat is at 66 all winter. Brrrr! I wear shorts under sweats and T’s under hoodies in the evenings!

It looks like a fun day! I get more excited to go grocery shopping than clothes shopping. I love the spider bread! I am making some fun Halloween treats for a little partay tomorrow and one will be chocolate spider desserts. Have a great weekend!

Absolutely love this post–you’re such a clever chica. I’ve long since come to terms with the fact that I am NOT normal…but you make me feel like I’m not completely alone in my ways;)
OMG Your lunch looks fabulous! What kind of tortillas do you use?

I wish you didn’t live in NC so we could have days like this together! I could spend HOURS wandering a grocery store…

Seriously. I spent a day off wandering the new Wegmans. Life was good.

Thank god we foodies aren’t normal. I like being like that. Not average. Not normal. Crazy about little things :)

60 degrees?? that’s freakin cold to us southern californians. i swear today in anaheim it was 70 degrees and i was in my uggs and a scarf. we went to newport for the afternoon and it was 73 degrees there. warmer inland than at the beach? say what?

i love this post and can relate to have spoonfuls of almond butter right out of the jar, and the trader joes addiction.

i’m so happy that you get break in less than a month. i loved my week off for thanksgiving.

As I was reading your blog I was looking at my hair dryer lying on my bed contemplating whether I should turn it on to help heat my room! Glad I’m not the only one and yes it is normal :)

these might not sound normal for a normal person… but we’re bloggers! and these are the convention instead of exception :D

what kind of camera do you have? I am looking into getting a new one (scrap that- begging for a new one for Christmas).

perhaps not quite ‘average’ but decidedly awesome :)

those great harvest people are hard-sell with their sampes! oddly enough it actually turns me off a little. i mean, i don’t want to insult the guy if i don’t want something he is offering!

(PS: not a generalization for all great harvests — just that particular one in chapel hill :) i know brew & bake matt would make my great harvest experience a dream come true!)

60 degrees is NEVER normal! I’m lucky though – my current roomie is from South Africa, so she never let’s the temp get too low :)

And… grocery shopping is super exciting!

I think you’re asking the wrong crowd homegirl. We are all a little off center from “normal.” But that’s relative anyway. I think you’re fantastic! :)

I would definitely spend at least an hour in Southern Season! So awesome. And that ant/bug (?) soup bowl!! Love it.

Pshhh that stuff is all normal! Hehe, is it normal that I tried all those TJ products that you bought? Or that I know their locations in the store and price range by heart?

Cute spider (the only spider I will ever like!). Happy Halloween, girlie!!!

Great Harvest is worth many many stops just for its amazing bread. I LOVE them. And they give out pretty hefty samples…always a plus!
And is your roommate a vampire? 60 degrees?!

hahah YES using a hair dryer is oh so normal! I will sit at my computer and have it blow in my face when I’m cold (so, most of the time). :)

Awww Allie, Yes to EVERYTHING. I think that everything you’ve mentioned is absolutely normal! Particularly wanting yogurt every single day of your life – i can’t imagine life without it!! And grocery shopping is the highlight of my weekends, particularly if I get to go somewhere new, and somewhere BIG!!! (it also helps if it’s cheap) hahaha

If you like flax crackers, come by and check out my giveaway! :) Happy Sunday hun!!

Actually, more than half of those things are VERY normal to me and friends of mine!! :)

I could name countless girls who end their lunches with a spoonful of peanut butta-straight out of the jar, and to me…grocery shopping, TJ’s, the macro setting and daily yogurt messes are all VERY normal obsessions of mine ;)
