Sorta of like E News but instead of Ryan and Giuliana, you’ve got ME. Why? I’ve got some news for you!
I wasn’t planning on posting this morning since I posted last night and all that’s on my camera to show you is the Key Lime Mousse Cake we had last night for my Uncle’s birthday. But, my morning workout plans went down the drain when I stepped out of bed and both my legs buckled and I almost fell on my face (from my supah tight calves, grrrr).
I thought I was waddlin’ yesterday?!! I look like a granny penguin today!
It was delicious!!!! It tasted like KEY LIME PIE. Which brings me to my next piece of news….
WE’RE GOING TO ORLANDO, FL!!!! Kind of a random trip. There’s a reason though.
My family owns a timeshare and our week is about to expire!! We had to exchange it before April or it would go to waste. The only location warm and relatively close was Orlando. We’ll be going in 2 weeks!! This is completely out of the blue but I’m excited because we haven’t taken a vacation in awhile.
And who doesn’t wanna see Mickey? IN PERSON!
I mean, I even dressed up as Minnie for Halloween 2 years ago.
Oh and we’re driving 16 hours there and back…

Okay moving on to other news….
Some of you have already noticed that I’ve changed the layout on my blog!
I’ve been meaning to do this for quite some time. To tell you the truth, my old layout was supposed to be rather temporary. So far, I’ve been scrunching my face trying to decipher this crazy a$$ random CSS code because I’m not privileged enough to know someone that designs websites.
Well, I’ve been playing around late at night (so no one has to see my crazy layouts jump around) and I came across this one last night. I like it all except I can’t have my own header!!! Well, I can’t figure out how to put it in myself….unless I pay them to tell me their $ecret$! Boo.
It takes me hours to figure out things that most people could do in seconds. It makes me feel accomplished though (and dumb).
I’ve got some work to do but do you like it so far!? It’s way simpler and more straight forward than my old one. My favorite is the two buttons in the upper right corner for Twitter and RSS.
Oh and I rewrote the blurb about me on the right

Okay NEXT UP! My main reason for posting this morning….
A year’s subscription to Health Magazine is $5 on Amazon among other magazines! Need a quick Christmas gift? No time to drive anywhere or wrap presents? This is perfect! I ordered mine immediately this morning upon checking my email and decided sharing the news with you was far more productive than straining my calves on the elliptical.
Okay, now I’ve managed to further delay my lunch time breakfasts as I’m still sitting in bed typing up this post! Have a great Monday!!

You’re lucky for the trip to Florida. I’ll have to go there one day. When my son will be older.
The layout is great. But the color I’m not sure. But again it’s my opinion and taste LOL Me too I would like to change the header and layout but I don’t know someone to do a header. And I don’t want to spend lots of $$$ to change. So for now it stays that way but I hate it cause it’s in French.

I LOVE key lime pie. I had that all the time when I was in Florida (one of the best beach vacations in my life). But going to Florida in the middle of winter after fully making use of the snow for the holidays… not a (jea)lousy idea

Oh Allie, I’ve been meaning to ask you this weird question. Do you happen to know if Bone Suckin’ BBQ Sauce is sold near you in NC? I know it is made and manufactured in NC. This is by far my favorite BBQ sauce ever and I sadly, very sadly, just finished my jar. Really, I think I shed a tear or two. I am so desperate to score another jar that if you happen to have it near you, I would pay you my life savings and even my first born child. LoL.
Okay that may be a bit extravagant, but I really do love this sauce.

girl, I KNOW what you mean about the CSS blues…I’ve got my own domain set up but the lay-out is driving me CRAZY! I can’t even get the comments to show up…it’s so annoying, and I’m at my wit’s end!
For the header image, though, all you need is to make you own header, resize it to fit the current header, upload it into your FTP file, and then insert it into your theme php. Or something like that.
