You know you’re a dorkus maximus when you notice that you hit every food group with your breakfast.

Ezekiel topped with pumpkin and almond butter:

Cinna-apples and PE-cans:

Kefir (the last of it...tear) w/ pumpkin, pecans, and Kashi GoLean (the last of it…double tear):

What’s in the pot? Why a Green Tea Latte, of course!

You know you’re a KERF reader when you see The Giver in the bubbles of your tea! See it?!

Can you guess where I got my teapot!?! I may have mentioned it long ago…

You know it’s time to go grocery shopping when your eats are getting awfully repetitive.

In class snax: Kabocha squash, sweet potatoes, Sandwich round w/ almond butter and apples.

IMG_3075.JPG

Verrrrry repetitive.

You know you’re a Trader Joe’s fanatic when you give a presentation on the company for your marketing/entrepreneurship course and had to contain your enthusiasm as not to seem totally crazy.

You know you’re procrastinating studying for your exam when you go to the gym after a long day of classes….just to avoid cracking open the books.

45 super long minutes on the elliptical and 30 min. strength training. It was a weak workout. Time was dragging!

You know you’re a hungry hippo when…

…you don’t even have time to plate your dining hall salad ‘for the blog’ (let alone take it out of the bag) before wolfing it down like a 5 year old eating a bowl of Cookie Crisp!!!!

IMG_3076.JPG

Picture 23.png

I planned on just putting this salad in the fridge and eating a bowl of oatmeal because that’s what I was craving, but once I opened the salad box for a nibble of eggplant–the whole thing went down!

I needed fuel…and fast!! So I had oatmeal in bar form….

You know you’re in need of motivation when you drink an Alive! shake in hopes of stayin’ alive through your exam cram sesh.

IMG_3081.JPG IMG_2994.JPG

  • 1/2 Alive! Packet
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup almond milk

You know you’re cramming for an exam procrastinating some more when you opt to blog and watch the Olympics rather than study.

IMG_3086.JPG

Okay, gotta crack open the books!! Hopefully my meals/snax will get a little more interesting after I hit up Trader Joe’s this weekend. It’s been over a month (not sure how I’ve survived)!  I’ll try my best to get creative in the kitch in the mean time.

I know how you feel about procrastination. I love blogging, but jeez, I get so distracted sometimes! (More like all of the time!) Good thing tomorrow is a snow day so I can tackle some of my Pre-Cal. Guhhh.

Hi girly, missed ya! Delightful looking eats as always :) Those breakfast photos are fantastic. I’m curious, what camera do you use, and do you use a white box?

Hahaha, you can always write off watching the Olympics as being a good global citizen.

I love your blog! Recently found it, and I’m currently waiting to hear back from Duke for grad school in English. If I get in, I will probably need directions to that Trader Joe’s!

I love your fancy breakfast setup and adorable tea pot! I would guess you got it at Southern Season since they have all kinds of cute stuff like that there. The green tea latte looks delicious too. :)

Lovely entry! I’ve been eating chicken salad sandwiches everyday for lunch because I’m so addicted to them right now, especially grilled with a piece of cheddar cheese.

Hey gurl! Remember me?? Haha, totally normal if you don’t. I’m back to blogging and just wanted to shout you a holla :)
Holy shiat, I read the Giver in my 6th grade class. I’m pretty sure I didn’t understand it at the time… I just wanted to get my recess on, shoo. I totally procrastinate by hitting up the gym… that way you feel like your being productive.
Anyways lady, good luck with the studying!! Speaking of I got a midterm tomorrow too… ekkk!
