I’m a Big Ol’ Gleek

I’ve gotta admit, I’m a total Gleek.

Last year, when Glee first came out, I didn’t have a chance to watch it since I was busy at school. I have this thing where I have to watch shows in order from the very first episode. No jumping around and no starting in the middle! A few weeks ago, I started watching Glee online…and now I’m almost all caught up. I’ve also watched countless Youtube videos on the cast members. I’ve become a big ol’ Gleek.

Glee casting director…are you there?

Any other Glee fans out there? Who’s your favorite character?

My favorite character is Brittany. Brittany S. Pierce :) .

This morning, I secretly ate 1/2 of Peter’s Panera chocolate chip bagel paired with Cinnamon Roast Almonds. It was sitting on the counter looking oh so pretty. Kitchen counter=fair game. Peter knows this. He often hides donuts in places I can’t reach.

I ate another handful of almonds and then finished off yet another tub of Fage Greek yogurt. These certainly don’t last long in this house.

Later in the afternoon, I took a trip to the gym for 17 min. incline walking, 33 min. elliptical, and 10 min. arm weights. I came pretty close to skipping my workout altogether but I really needed to move! I spend a lot of my time sitting/standing in the same place so my workout is more or less my daily movement.

Post workout, I made the same thing from yesterday. A salad with leftover Chickpea salad, TJ’s Tomato Basil Hummus and whole wheat naan. So good!

IMG_6090.jpg IMG_6097.jpg IMG_6103.jpg

I was a little too excited about the naan though and It burned my finger when I pulled it out of the toaster. Ouch!

See the burn mark? It’s on my ring finger between the two bends. I know, it’s small and barely visible but it hurts! Lesson learned.

Paired with an orange for fruit’s sake.

Dessert was a big bowl of vanilla frozen yogurt, chocolate chips, and cinnamon roast almonds.

Off to maybe do some baking with my new toy and then watch Glee!

I have never ever seen an episode but I do love the Christmas album. Mmm and now you have me craving some Panera Bagels. They do have the best.

You know for some reason, Glee is basically the only show I don’t watch. I know people are crazy about it and I’m sure I would be too, I’ve just never really gotten into it!

I never really got into Glee until this year. I actually got hooked because of my boyfriend who started watching with his mom! I love all the songs and fun storyline. I may start watching more often, but I feel like I want to start from the beginning like you.

Not going to lie, I saw a few minutes of Glee once and didn’t like it. The only show I watch religiously is Law and Order SVU :)

I love Fage! I use it like its sour cream :)

I haven’t got into Glee yet, but I want to because it sounds good! I am watching the third season of True Blood right now (so good!).

I’m the same way when it comes to watching tv shows! I too was not on the Glee bandwagon until someone (forced) me to watch the first 6 episodes! I’m now in the process of ituning the rest so I can watch them on the elliptical (more motivation to stay on til the shows done!)

I LOVE Glee! I am a total Gleek and my hubby bought me the first season for Christmas! It’s funny, his favorite character is Brittany 2! haha :) You said you had almost caught up, does that mean you are on season 2? If so…didn’t you LOVE the Brittany Spears episode?! That’s probably why Brittany is your favorite haha :) I have to admit, I’m a big fan of Sue…I think it’s more from the second season though. You see more of a human side of her! Well….Have fun catching up! :)

I just can’t seem to get into Glee, though my friends love it. I’ll stick with my 90210 and Gossip Girl :)

I am the EXACT same way with TV shows. I can’t stand ‘jumping in’ in the middle of a season!

I am a total Gleek as well.. though I don’t have a favourite character. They are all too awesome to choose between :P

I like the Glee music, but I haven’t had the time to watch the show. I’ve downloaded the music on my ipod for workouts & runs (which has been fabulous!), & I’ve seen a couple episodes. I think they’re good – I just haven’t had the time to really follow it.

hahaha I recently started watching Glee too and I’m feeling a full on obsession comming on. Also, today when I was cleaning up breakfast I burned my hand on my coffee maker so I can totally relate to your Naan incident!

I love Glee! Brittany is my favorite too, especially on Christmas episode- so funny! If I’m having a bad day, I get on Itunes and buy a new Glee song and it instantly perks me up. And I’m the exact same way in that I can’t start a new show in the middle. I need to go back and watch the whole thing. Otherwise you never really understand it all!

Yayyy I’m so happy you’ve discovered the awesomeness of Glee! I love it, but I didn’t have any time to watch it this season so I’m super behind! I’m hoping to catch up before classes start up again on Monday. :D
