Do ya?

These bread slices look like BUNNIES! Just in time for Easter (though unintentional, I think).

Bunny eats hummus.

My mom stopped by Harris Teeter on her way home to rent a Redbox movie. Instead, she came home with a loaf of flax + bran bread, a tub of hummus and fried chicken.

(She was inspired/craving bread after listening to Kath and Matt’s breadcast).

(Chef Peter had a guys’ night to go to :) )

I jumped right in…and so did the bunnies!

My mom got a craving for banana soft serve later so I made a batch topped with Love Grown Foods Granola and toasted pecans.

This time I used a splash of coconut milk kefir instead of the usual splash of almond milk. Tasted great, if not better!

I make banana soft serve in my Magic Bullet and it works well. You don’t need a food processor. You’ll probably still have some chunks in there using the MB or a blender, but chunks are a gooood thing!

Then we spent hours on the couch watching 20/20 and House Hunters International on HGTV (hey, it was raining and cold outside!). We like HH Int’l because it lets us explore foreign countries. Have you ever traveled somewhere and thought “I wonder what the houses look like inside?” Well, HH Int’l lets you take a peak inside! We went to Australia, Italy and Germany last night :) .

Soon my time at home with the rents will come to an end! Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

Tell me: Are you a house person? As in, do you enjoy house hunting (in real life and/or on TV)?

I thought you meant your mom went to GH for her bread! Sadness!

I know :( . That’s what I thought/hoped she did too. It’s a bit of a drive from here though. I made sure to tell her it wasn’t the same and that she still had to try GH!

Those “bunnies” look so cute and yummy! :) I do consider myself a “house person.” Whenever I take a walk around my neighborhood or pass by houses while driving somewhere, I often wonder what they look like on the inside. I think it’s pretty neat how different houses can appear on the inside versus the outside. I hope you have a wonderful day!

The bunny bread is so adorable!!!! How cute.

I love looking at houses — on TV and in person. We always go to open houses in the area or if we just happen to drive by random ones.

hahaha that’s the cutest bread!! I would have had so much fun munching on that lunch with them. :P

I’m not really interested in house hunting or anything like that but it can be fun at times. When I’m not actually looking for a house, it’s fun to take random tours. There’s a neighborhood in my home town that has multi million dollar mansions so my family goes through them just for the heck of it whenever they build a new one and have an open house. They’re INSANE!!

The bunny bread is stinkin’ adorable!

I’m a house person for sure. I love seeing what other people do to their homes and how they’re built, it can be pretty inspiring.

Your mum craves banana soft serve? That is SO awesome! My mum doesn’t even know what it is :P
I LOVE house shows – hunting, renovating…they’re all awesome!

Before we bought our house, I would watch house hunters every day when I got off work. I LOVED WATCHING IT! I still do, but now I have my own house and it lost a little of its excitement. Now I prefer HH International because of exactly what you said…exploring foreign houses!

Oh my gosh, your bread is shaped like rabbits. I’m guessing this is coincidental, but still pretty awesome.

Ha ha…how appropriate that your bread looks like bunnies!

I LOVE to house hunt! If my dad and I are bored, we will drive around new neighborhoods and look at the architecture and style of houses. If there’s an open house, even better!

Those DO look exactly like bunnies — how funny!

I appreciate rainy days sometimes, because they give me excuses to relax on the couch and catch up on *horrible* tv.

I love the bread bunnies! House hunting shows are my favorite. I am so nosy and love seeing how other people decorate. They just built a new house right next door to mine, and you better believe that I went to the open house to see what it looked like!

Haha that’s so funny how that bread is so perfectly shaped for the holidays! :D Not to mention it sounds amazing. I love grainy/brany/flaxy breads!

I always watch HH International when I’m at the gym. I get so jealous of the people looking for a 2nd home in the Caribbean. How amazing would that be??

Aw those bunnies are too cute. I love that you and your mom had a girls’ night. I really need to do more of those with my mom.

Hm, I’ve always wanted to see what a Grecian home looked like!

Love that you spotted bunnies in your bread! LOL! Last week, I read that someone found Kate Middleton’s image in a jelly bean. Hysterical!

BREAD BUNNIES! So cute!

I love watching shows like Property Virgins and House Hunters, but I don’t like doing it in “real life”. :)
