Bread ‘n’ Bieber

Hello! Happy Friday! Do you have any exciting plans for Memorial Day Weekend? Do tell. I need to live vicariously through you all because my weekend will look a lot like how it did today….cleaning and packing. I’m moving on Monday so it’s really crunch time now.

Crunch

At the meeting yesterday, I really wanted to get the Almond Butter Banana Crunch sandwich. I chose tofu instead, so I recreated the Crunch for breakfast this morning using none other than Dakota bread!

A sprinkle of Nature’s Path Pumpkin Granola on top.

Along with iced coffee, which is the only thing getting me out of bed these days.

Then I proceeded to pack and eat more bread. I got quite a bit accomplished, but I still have a long way to go. I keep uncovering junk that needs to be sorted through! Crap…literally.

Late afternoon, I went over to the gym for 25 min. elliptical + some squats and lunges. Afterwards, I walked over to the Redbox Machine to get…

Belieb it or not. I’m actually a bit apprehensive to watch this movie because I know I’m gonna really like him afterwards. Like, really.

…I’m also going to start talking like a tween.

I got lost twice (yes, in my own neighborhood), so my walk ended up taking over an hour. It was a nice day to get lost though.

I had plans to come home and make a huge meal right away, but Peter called telling me he was buying “good stuff like jumbo shrimp.” So I drank a spinach + banana smoothie to hold me over until he came home.

IMG_3547.JPG

Dinner got delayed even further because my mom wanted to play tennis after work.

I ate some watermelon and a slice of bread to hold me over even longer.

IMG_5551.jpg

Tennis time was cut short due to thunderstorms so dinner came early. No complaints over here. Peter made a stir fry using snow peas, green onions, mushrooms and jumbo shrimp.

IMG_5555.jpg

The shrimp was so plump and juicy!

IMG_5561.jpg

I ate it with some leafy greens (it’s been awhile!), salsa and avocado.

…and a hunk of bread! Clearly, I am okay subsisting on bread.

Alrighty, it’s Bieber time. Have a great night!

I have yet to see that movie but it’s definitely on my to watch list. ;)

Love the nutty dakota bread and awesome stirfry. I could probably live off shrimp…I crave it all the time especially during spring/summer when we can throw it on the grill!

Hey there’s nothing wrong with being a fan! Despite how much older than a tween I am, I have to say…I kind of really like his songs (esp Never Say Never :D ). And I like that one Selena Gomez song (Who Says)….so by default, I like JB.

But I’m pretty sure I’ll never be as rabid as the Beliebers. They’re so crazy!!
