Happy Halloween!!

Some of our neighbors went all out decorating their front yards…

Impressive, huh?

…and we didn’t even get a pumpkin. Oops!

By some miracle, this bag of candy lasted until today! Although, I don’t believe there’s a single Rolo left in there now.

I attended the neighborhood parade tonight with the kiddos. I finally got to see them in their adorable costumes! I’ve gotten to know a bunch of kids around the neighborhood too and it was fun to see them all dressed up (I wish I could show you the photos I took!).

Halloween is much more exciting when you know kids of trick-or-treating age.

This was my favorite [show-able] costume. Bahaha.

My favorite pet.

I didn’t plan on dressing up, but I ended up with cat ears on my head. It worked out that I had my leopard print ballet flats on. I rarely wear these shoes, but it seemed appropriate for Halloween.

I’m waiting for trick-or-treaters to show up now. Thus far we’ve had only one group of high school kids come by. Boo.

Have a great night!

I know! Now we gotta wait until we have kids of our own and then steal their candy when they’re not looking :) . So in like 20 years..

Cat (animal) ears are always a good fall-back for Halloween :D

Aww I’m jealous! I love seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes. But since I live in an apartment at school, we don’t get any trick or treaters. :(

Love your outfit!

Cute outfit! I would love to decorate for Halloween but for some reason we NEVER get trick or treaters. When we moved in here, we went all out and then we realized that no one was coming (the most we ever had one year was 6) it was quite the damper on our Halloween decorating motivation. We haven’t had a trick or treater in 5 years. More Nerds for us! :-)

Now those are cat ears! I had a 4 year old girl tell me that she was a cat. I pointed out that she had red pointed ears so I thought that she was a devil. She assured me that she was a cat. I gave her her candy and she began walking off and I yelled, “Wait! You have a pitchfork in your hand though!!” I think I was tricked.
