Bringing Frothy Back

Hello! How’s your Wednesday going?

Tuesdays are my jam-packed days. This is how I felt by the time I get home last night…

IMG_1409.jpg

Running on empty!

IMG_2024.jpg

I bypassed the blog and crawled right into bed.

Remember when I was obsessed with using my IKEA frother last winter? I brought frothy back this week. It goes perfectly with my favorite Pumpkin Spice Coffee (which they have stopped selling! Nooooo).

IMG_2034.jpg IMG_2045.jpg

It’s been awhile since I’ve talked about breakfast. Why? Because I eat the same thing every morning before my workout. Toast with sunflower seed butter and banana.

IMG_2031.jpg

I have to eat something before I workout, but I can’t eat too much or else I get painful stomach cramps. I have a high maintenance tummy. I’ve found that I can eat this and run within 30 minutes and have no trouble. It’s a miracle.

While I don’t run every day, I still eat this every day because I love it and it doesn’t seem like I’ll ever get tired of it. Another miracle.

IMG_2037.jpg

No, that’s not black pepper you see there. It’s sugar, chocolate and coffee sprinkles!

IMG_2044.jpg

I recommend cinnamon raisin toast for maximum enjoyment.

IMG_2039.jpg

Then I hit the pavement. We’ve been getting some incredible weather this week. I’m soaking it up before it’s long gone and these beautiful leaves are covered in snow.

IMG_1913.jpg

How is it November already? This girl is still holding onto summer and dressing like so…

IMG_2019.jpg

A gr8 run!

IMG_2007.jpg

Brrrrr

IMG_1817-2.jpg

Popcorn in the shape of a chip. These totally exceeded my expectations! I am hooked.

IMG_1821.jpg

Lately, I’ve been chasing down my smoothies with a bowl of hot oatmeal and then jumping into the shower to warm up.

IMG_1826.jpg

Anyone else still celebrating Halloween? Just me?

IMG_2049.jpg

I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!

I don’t get sick of my breakfast either, and I’ve also been eating the same thing each day!

Toast with peanut butter + banana and coffee with soy milk is my go-to breakfast! I never get sick of it because I can always change up the kind of peanut butter! YUM YUM! Tho I can’t even eat 1/2 banana before a workout without feeling sick. I get the high maintenance… :-/

I feel the same way about breakfast bakes as you do for the toast, PB, and banana. Honestly..anything you can smear PB on and add bananas is worth eating every day!

I eat chocolate peanut butter on toast with a banana every single morning and never get sick of it! I always get comments about it at the office. Oh well I love it :)

Wait, I don’t think I realized you had a dog….am I just oblivious? Haha. That photo is so cute with the headband on it!

And Halloween ends when the candy runs out. :)

Almond milk! I found last year that if you microwave it for 20-30 seconds it works better.

Mmm I’ve been loving the frothy coffees lately too :)
Haha the dog’s headband is just adorable!

You are doing so great with your running, Allie! :)

Love the photo of the dog! I totally used to dress my golden retriever up in my headbands when I was little (and not so little). haha

I saw a girl running in shorts and a t-shirt this morning and it was 35 degrees in Boston. I felt cold just watching her!

I’m pretty sure the people all bundled up in winter jackets/scarves/hats look at me like that! While sweat is flying off my body :)

I’m jealous that you still have pretty leaves to look at. The snow took away all the fall colors. =[ Great job on the run! I wish I was improving as much as you have been!

Luckily, our leaves survived the snow! I was worried they’d all die.

I love your bowl of candy and your compression socks.

i have a milk frother sort of like that; it does a totally under-whelming job of frothing. lol I need to try your brand if you like it.

I also have those TJ’s sprinkles/grinder!

Yeah the IKEA one is $1.99 and works well.

I have a frother like that but the batteries have been dead for over a year. I really need to remember to buy some new ones! :P

Those popcorn chips sound good!

Chasing bowls of oatmeal with smoothies- :) ….I am the most backwards person I know. I like cold drinks in the winter even though I am freeeeeeeezing! I should chase them with a shower like you do!

I showered before drinking a smoothie last weekend. Never ever ever ever again so long as it’s below 60*F. I ended up having to blow-dry my BODY!

Your new grinder is so fun! Make sure to keep it in a separate spot from the salt and pepper. I can see some easy sweet/savory mix ups:)

So. Much. Candy leftover! But I don’t think that should be an issue for either of us ;) I love the froth in drinks-for some reason it is just so good!

By the way, when i was on Facebook earlier you came up as someone I might know because we have one mutual friend (won’t say her name) but I thought that was hilarious! Wasn’t sure if it’d be weird if I friended you though….

SOunds like what I do! I can’t give up smoothies so a space heater and nice steamy shower is a necessity after!

I can’t wait until the next random day when it’s warm enough to dress like that for an outdoor run! We got snow last Wednesday and last night, so hopefully a day pops up in the next week or so.

Where chocolate is concerned, I seem to be celebrating Halloween all year round!

Oh the dog is adorable! Is it yours? I have a frother and use it every morning! It’s my everyday appliance! How do you like the chocolate sprinkles/grinder from TJ’s? It’s ok, little disappointed in that one, I always get chunks of something stuck in my teeth.

I don’t have the cognitive capacity in the morning to think of something different to make breakfast!

We’ve been having some really mild weather as well, I’m counting my lucky stars and hoping snow doesn’t start falling anytime soon :) I’m not ready for that yet!
